Bhante Gunaratana

Bhante Gunaratana uses the exemplary Dhamma practice of the Venerable Mahakasapa to teach the importance of virtue and doing what one is suppose to do in ones Dhamma practice.  Venerable Mahakasapa lived in a very righteous way according to the Buddha’s teachings.  He practiced morality that included the training rules with patience and mindfulness, guarding the senses, reflecting on the purpose of the requisites, and having purity in livelihood.
