"Beings are owners of their actions, heirs of their actions; they originate from their actions, are bound to their actions, have their actions as their refuge. It is action that distinguishes beings as inferior and superior.”

Transcription Needs

We need transcribers

The Bhavana Society is looking for volunteers to transcribe audio Dhamma talks.  If you got to this link from an audio talk page, that means that we need that talk to be transcribed.

Transcribing talks can be an extremely rewarding experience.  It is an opportunity to become intimately connected with the Dhamma and at the same time provide a great gift to others.

If you are interested in transcribing a talk, download it and give it a listen.  When you are ready, write to us at .  We can send you more detailed instructions and tell you the time frame we are looking to have the talks completed in.

After the talks have been transcribed, a notice on the talk’s page will ask for volunteers to edit.  So if you don’t feel comfortable doing editing, no problem.  We’ve got you covered.

Thank you for your interest.
