"So too, monks, I saw the ancient path, the ancient road traveled by the Perfectly Enlightened Ones of the past. And what is that ancient path, that ancient road? It is just this Noble Eightfold Path; that is, right view, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration.”

Retreat Schedule here at the Bhavana Society

Click on retreat name for more information. Click the level to find explainations of what the levels mean.
We will change how to register for a retreat at Bhavana Society starting in 2012. All retreat registrations will only be accessible to register thirty days before each retreat's starting date. You will not be able to register for any retreat until each individual registration form becomes active. Please read details on the Retreat Registration form page. Once a retreat has become full, we will still offer a Wait List but please note we do not expect those who register within a few weeks of a retreat's starting date to cancel. If we do receive cancellations, we would then contact those on the Wait List.
All retreats begin between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the first day and end after lunch on the last day. Please re-confirm your attendance a few weeks before the retreat begins. You can contact our center by sending an e-mail at confirming or canceling your registration or call our office and leave a message.
Also Note: Vesak and Kathina are not retreats, but we list them here for your convenience. It is not necessary to register for them if you are only coming for the day. To make overnight arrangements for Kathina and Vesak, please use the Visit Registration form.
If a retreat is listed as "full", you can request to be put on a "Wait List", this list will be used as spaces become available. Please submit a Visitor's Registration form and in Special Needs write that you are requesting to be put on the Wait List and specify retreat, then enter the dates for the retreat.
