"This is the entire spiritual life, Ananda, that is, good friendship, good companionship, good comradeship. When a monk has a good friend, a good companion, a good comrade, it is to be expected that he will develop and cultivate the Noble Eightfold Path.”

Level: Youth Only
What does Youth Only mean?

Teacher: Monastic Community

This retreat is offered to youths 10-19 years of age.  The youths will be divided into two separate groups.  This will make it easy for one group ages 10-14 and another group ages 15-19 to maximize the benefit each group will gain from this retreat. This retreat is designed for youths to learn about meditation and introduce the teachings of the Buddha to use in every day life.  Unlike other retreats, an evening meal will be served Saturday late afternoon.

All retreats begin between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm on the first day. Please arrive to allow enough time to complete registration here and settle in before the retreat begins. All retreats end after lunch on the last day.
Although every retreat is slightly different here is a typical retreat daily schedule.
