What does Intermediate mean?

This retreat uses basic mindfulness (vipassana/insight) practice as a springboard for seeing the reality of the mind.  The practice will include sitting, standing and walking meditation, Dhamma talks, question and answer periods and optional teacher interviews.  Breathing and yoga exercises will be integrated into the body based vipassana awareness to help develop concentrated awareness in the body.


Note: First time people should be at Bhavana by 4:30 p.m. on the first day of the retreat. Everyone else should be here by 5:00 p.m.. All retreats end after lunch on the last day.
Although every retreat is slightly different here is a typical retreat daily schedule.
