We are happy to announce Bhante Gunaratana will take a yearlong sabbatical starting next year.  As many of you know, Bhante G has been leading retreats at Bhavana and throughout the world for well over fifty years.  He has decided that a full year’s rest is in order and he will be traveling and visiting friends and family.  We will continue to offer retreats at Bhavana and the community monastics will be leading retreats throughout the 2009 calendar year.  Bhante G has asked all his friends and those in the monastic community to allow him this year of vacation and travel by not contacting him.  You can contact the Bhavana Society with any questions or concerns but Bhante G will not be available the entire year.  We hope that everyone will wish him this year of rest with the great blessings from the Triple Gem.
